7 Ways to Reflect Like a Pro:

Weekly reflections are a great way to measure progress.

I like to do my weekly reflection every Sunday.

Here are 7 tips for effective reflection.

1) Make it manageable

The goal is to do a reflection every week.

If your reflection process is too long, it's hard to stay consistent.

2) Create a structure

Structure ensures you measure what matters.

Here are some templates of reflection structures I like:

3) Review monthly progress

Changes from week to week are relatively small.

But each month, you should see an improvement in your actions.

4) Update your structure

Your priorities tend to shift over time.

Revisit your structure quarterly to stay aligned with current goals.

5) Pick the right medium for you

Your reflection can be digital or analog.

I do checkpoints in a spreadsheet and Heart Talk journaling on paper.

6) Time block your reflection

What gets planned gets managed.

I use time blocking for everything my reflection is no exception.

7) Share with others

Getting advice from others helps you improve.

If you feel comfortable, talk through your reflection with a loved one.

Reflection TL; DR:

  1. Make it manageable
